One Infected Tick Could Change Your Life! Donate Online or download a PDF form to Donate by Mail

The University of Rhode Island's TickEncounter Resource Center is pioneering anti-tick outreach while the Center for Vector-Borne conducts basic and applied research leading to better strategies for predicting and preventing insect- and arthropod-transmitted infections locally and world-wide. TickEncounter.org is one of the nation's best sources of information on tick-bite protection and tick-borne disease prevention. We also strive to raise awareness by encouraging people in the community to Stand Up Against Lyme. Your contribution helps ensure tick-bite protection decision support today and the discovery of sustainable disease prevention solutions for tomorrow.

The TickEncounter Resource Center is a program affiliated with the URI College of the Environment and Life Sciences (CELS).

CELS is dedicated to making a difference for its students, faculty, and the community through the world-class education and research it offers. To make an online gift, click on the link above.
